PortAventura World is one of the best theme park destinations in Europe with a great lineup of coasters which is a must-do park for any coaster fans out there. Due to this, it can be a very costly trip to do. However, I have discovered a loophole which I tested first-hand to do a 2-day trip to PortAventura for a ridiculously low price with all of the core four covered for a 4-star on-site hotel, 2-day park tickets (including Ferrari Land), flights from the UK and breakfast also included. Read on to see how you can do this yourself..
Park/Hotel Package 🎡
So PortAventura run a not-very-well-known deal called ‘Hotel Roulette’ where on select dates during the year you can get a park ticket and on-site hotel package for as little as £50 per person. The reason they do this is because the resort has six hotels and at quieter times in the year they don’t want to be operating all six so they try fill guests in as many empty rooms as possible in 1 or 2 hotels to reduce costs. As a result of this, you can get a very cost-effective trip staying in the heart of one of Europe’s best theme park destinations (in my opinion).
The best way to book this is to first go to the Hotel Roulette page on the PortAventura World website. This basically summarises the deal and shows a calendar of the dates they are running this promotion on (it says it’s only a Black Friday deal but you can book this all-year round). Now, once you’ve decided a date you want to go I would advise NOT booking directly and instead doing it through Booking.com or Expedia. The reason I suggest this is because Booking.com and Expedia tend to run money-off promotions and deals as well as it including protection if you’re booking is cancelled or anything goes wrong. It seems that the more people you book to go the cheaper it is. When I visited in May 2026, I went with two other people (3 total) and it came to £150 which includes 1 night in the hotel, 2 day park entry (including Ferrari Land) and breakfast. Breakfast is however optional for £14 per person which means you can likely get this deal even cheaper at £36 per person if you opt-out! There is more info in the breakfast section of this page.
One thing to be cautious of when booking is that Booking.com and Expedia state that the hotels do triple rooms with 3 single beds but upon my arrival we found it to be 2 double beds and 1 single which even after a request to the hotel they told us wouldn’t happen.

Flights ✈️
Now when it comes to flights, the two main choices of airport close to PortAventura are either Reus Airport or Barcelona Airport. I would highly recommend flying to Reus Airport as its only a 15 minute taxi ride away from PortAventura World. If you choose to fly to Barcelona, it’s a good 2 hour train journey by public transport or good hour drive which would be costly by means like Uber or car rental.
You can fly to Reus for very cheap from a selection of UK airports including London Stansted, Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham with Ryanair or others such as Bristol or Luton with Jet2 or Easyjet although these are a bit more costly.
Being from near Bristol, I chose to fly from Birmingham which is only a 90 minute drive away and a top Theme Park Saver expert tip is that when flying from Birmingham you can park at Birmingham International train station and then take the monorail over to the airport for much cheaper than airport parking which set me back £20 for the two days I was there.
I managed to get return flights from Birmingham for £40 (£20 each way) which I believe is the cheapest you can get flying from the UK. The best way to find the cheapest dates to fly is by Skyscanner or my personal preference which is Google Flights and then compare it with the dates they run the ‘Hotel Roulette’ deal to snag the best price for your holiday.
Not all flights will be the same but mine from Birmingham in May got me into Reus for around 4pm (so a good 2 hours main park time and 4 hours in Ferrari Land) and the flight back from Reus was at 9pm (so a whole park day but bear in mind Ferrari Land is only included in one day of your stay).
Hotels 🛏️
Now, with the hotel it’s called ‘Hotel Roulette’ because its a lucky dip of which hotel you get whether it’s one of their more luxurious or lower-budget ones. However, it appears that majority of the time that you book this deal you are most likely to be booked into the PortAventura Hotel El Paso. This is still a 4 star hotel and a great one as there’s a huge pool (if you packed for that), pool bar, great open lobby and comfortable rooms (very reminiscent of onsite hotels like Hard Rock at Universal Orlando).
Bear in mind that the pool does close early so if you want to maximise park time, it is unlikely you’ll be able to do this in the evenings (at least this was the case with my visit in May).
Transport 🚗
I’ve not decided to include transport in the overall deal this page is about as it can differ depending on how you want to do it/where you are travelling from. A big Theme Park Saver tip is that Uber’s are banned in Catalonia to let local taxi companies dominate the market so the best advice I can give to get from Reus Airport to PortAventura is to get a local taxi outside the terminal which will set you back around €30 each way but split between other people can make this cheaper.
There is also a bus you can get from Reus Airport or even Barcelona Airport or city centre called BusPlana but this takes a lot longer to get to the park if you want to maximise park time and I believe has to be booked in advance.
And then of course airport parking for the UK will vary depending on where you fly from or if you can get a lift from someone etc but as stated earlier, you can get airport parking for much cheaper if parking somewhere closeby (which of course) will let you do this.
Breakfast 🥐
Now, the breakfasts at PortAventura are absolutely incredible. Even beating ones at home like Premier Inn or Toby Carvery. There is so much to choose from including cooked breakfasts, cereal, pastries, pancakes, cereal, waffles and best of all churros. The reason I’ve included a section for breakfast is because it’s an additional upcharge for £14 per person but I’d highly recommend it as its’ one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had and there’s enough to fill you up for the day (even being able to pinch snacks to take into the park with you to save more costs).
Summary ✅
So in summary, with my visit for 3 people in May 2026, I paid £40 for return flights from Birmingham to Reus, £50 per person for the hotel + park tickets package (which includes 1 night at El Paso hotel, 2 days park tickets and breakfast each).
And then of course the transport between Reus and PortAventura and whether you park at the UK airport must also be counted into this.
