Theme parks can be some of the best days out you can have and a brilliant form of escapism. However, they’re also known for being expensive, where you can very easily end up spending more money than you expected (especially if it’s a hobby).

I’ve spent many years travelling to theme parks around the world, always trying to visit the best ones for the lowest price I can whilst still having the best time I can. After years of research, finding deals, hacks and new ways to save money, I decided I needed a platform to showcase everything I’ve learned so that other people can benefit from it too.

The goal of Theme Park Saver isn’t simply to find the absolute cheapest possible way to visit theme parks but the best value and knowing whether it’s worth spending a bit more as well as the parts of planning a trip that you may tend to overlook.

Everything here has been written from my own trips and experiences without the use of generative AI, so you know that the advice is authentic and comes from myself as I’ve paid for and done these experiences and know whether they’re worthwhile but most importantly of all value for money.

My interest in theme parks goes further than just visiting them. I hold a degree in Film Studies from UWE Bristol where my final-year dissertation explored how film studios expand on-screen narratives into theme parks using examples like Galaxy’s Edge and the Wizarding World which use nostalgia and brand awareness to create immersive spaces. I was also President of my university’s Rollercoaster Society and am a member of the Themed Entertainment Association.
