What is Theme Park Saver?

Theme parks can be some of the best days out and a brilliant mode of escapism. However, they’re also known for being an expensive day out or hobby, where you can very easily end up spending more money than you expected.

I’ve spent many years travelling to theme parks around the world, always aiming to visit the best ones for the best price possible whilst still having the best experience possible. After years of research, finding deals, hacks and new ways to save money, I decided I needed a platform to showcase everything I’ve learned so that other people can benefit from it too. That is what Theme Park Saver is for.

Whether you’re planning just a day trip to Thorpe Park or a full getaway to PortAventura World in Spain, this website is here to help you get the most for your money when planning your trip.

The goal of Theme Park Saver isn’t simply to find the absolute cheapest possible way to visit theme parks but to find the best value and knowing when spending a little more is worthwhile and spotting savings you might otherwise overlook.

Everything here has been written from my own experiences and trips without the use of generative AI, so you know that the advice is authentic and comes from a real person who has paid for these experiences and knows whether they’re worthwhile but most importantly value for money.

My interest in theme parks goes further than just visiting them. I hold a degree in Film Studies from UWE Bristol where my final-year dissertation explored how film studios expand on-screen narratives into theme parks such as Galaxy’s Edge and the Wizarding World by using nostalgia and brand awareness to create immersive spaces. I was also President of my university’s Rollercoaster Society and am a member of the Themed Entertainment Association.

This website will continue to be updated for as long as I keep travelling, so stay tuned as I’ll be posting new hacks, guides, deals and tips as soon as I hear about them.

If you ever need any help or advice when planning or booking a theme park trip, feel free to send me a message at dan@themeparksaver.co.uk and I’ll try my best to help you out!
